Assalamu alaikum.. I had bought the first book in Ibn Kathir series for my son and we are extremely happy with it.. Alhamdulillah.. I have been searching for such good quality storybooks with islamic backdrop for my eight year old son who loves reading and it is difficult to get an islamic story book/novel which is comparable in story and narration standards to other books available in general bookstores.. this book fulfils the expectations.. though this book is for preteens and above age group, as the vocabulary may be difficult for younger children, I enjoyed it as much as my son as I read out the book to him explaining what he did not understand and both of us got immersed in the world of Dar Al Ilm academy with their wonderful teachers and ties of friendships between the boys of the boarding school depicted beautifully... Islamic values are thoughtfully incorporated with great care in each chapter as the characters of the book interact and goes with the flow of story too. Ma Sha Allah...we ended up longing for such a school to exist:smile:.. I recommend it for boys who love reading adventure/mystery series and I shall definitely be buying the second book as a gift for my son next time.. in sha Allah.. jazakillah Khair Islamic book store team!
